Tramsheds is Sydney’s oldest new food destination housing a collective of the country’s most innovative food providores under the vaulted roof of the heritage-listed Rozelle Tram Depot.

Mirvac brought to life this historic disused site at Harold Park, delivering a National Trust Award winning revitalisation of the original building where today contemporary design, artisan produce and unique dining experiences meet, making Tramsheds THE destination for serious food lovers.

Avviso worked with Mirvac Retail and the impressive range of providores in the months prior to building completion to develop and deliver a comprehensive communications and PR strategy. Our multi-layered approach ensured saturated preview media coverage for the Grand Opening in September 2016 that profiled the overall offering of Tramsheds as well as the individual specialist offers within.

An ongoing program captured extensive tourism and travel media and famils, highly tailored localised and community campaigns and Sydney wide destination and food lover targets. Mainstream media included television, print and glossy magazines, radio and online publications through to social media and profile influencers ensuring the profile of Tramsheds has continued to rise across the target sectors. Events and education sessions drive an ongoing calendar of publicity that has seen the venue win Best New Precinct and People’s Choice Awards as well as the recent National Trust Heritage Award.
