Avviso Public Relations is an environmentally responsible business and is committed to the protection of the environment.

Avviso is dedicated to conducting its operations in a manner that reduces environmental risk and adverse effects on the environment in which our organisation operates.

Avviso’s goal is to ensure our operations are completely carbon neutral by June 2008, by taking measures to minimise energy and other resource consumption through increased efficiency and conservation, and by offsetting all our carbon emissions.

Our company strives to enhance our environmental performance and consistently reduce our impact on the environment, with a commitment to continual improvement including:

• Efficient use of energy
• Conservation of water
• Minimisation and recycling of waste

Avviso’s Environmental Objectives

Avviso's approach to improving our environmental performance will be as follows:
Measure → Offset → Reduce → Influence

Direct greenhouse gas emissions related to our business activities will be regularly measured, including:
• Electricity / Gas usage
• Waste generation
• Transport mileage
• Business related travel

We will then take immediate action to offset these CO2 emissions.

We aim to reduce our footprint by creating reduction strategies and targets, with the intention of achieving at least a 5-10% reduction in energy consumption in the following year.

We hope to influence others to do the same, including clients, staff, partners, and suppliers.
