Carolyn Grant Managing Director
Carolyn established Avviso Public Relations in 1992. She works on strategic plans and consulting on all business in the company. Carolyn studied a BA mastering in journalism at Queensland University and has been a journalist in Australia and the UK and has worked in major PR firms and for government. She is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and the Registered Consultancies Group.
Carolyn has lectured on Public Relations at UTS. She was on the Premier’s Advisory Council for the Youth in Media Awards, and a committee member of NSW Australia Day Council and NSW Centenary of Federation Council and the Macquarie 2010 Bicentenary Commemorations committee.
Carolyn is also a Director of Big G Conducts Pty Ltd and Co-creative Director of Macquarie Visions for Vivid Sydney 2010.

Larry Shutes Director
Larry is a Director of Avviso Public Relations and in charge of the business operation and financial control of the company and its clients.
Formerly Finance Director and Deputy Managing Director for Chase Corporation Australia, Larry holds a B.Comm (UNSW), and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Larry is also a Director of FarmWorks Australia Ltd. |

Erin Huckle Senior Account Manager
Erin completed her Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations) at University of Canberra in 2002. She has previously worked as a book publicist in Australia with HarperCollins Publishers and spent two and a half years working in technology PR in London before joining the Avviso team in 2007.
Erin manages major event, tourism, property, not-for-profit and leisure industry clients and has most recently been account manager on Business Events Australia for Tourism Australia, Macquarie Visions as part of Vivid Sydney, the State Library of NSW centenary exhibition, the Australian Council of Local Government, NAPCAN and AMF Bowling. |
Nicole Tiedgen Account Manager
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Media and Communications from Sydney University, majors in journalism, public policy and media law. Nicole has worked as a journalist for ACP magazines and has several years experience in media relations, events management and writing.
At Avviso Nicole manages some of Australia’s leading arts companies and festivals including the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, the Song Company, Macquarie Visions as part of the Vivid Sydney Festival, and also worked on the 2009 Classical Music Awards with APRA and the Australian Music Centre.
Nicole has a passion for the Arts and also worked with the National Gallery of Australia on campaigns for the Masterpieces From Paris exhibition and the National Summer Art Scholarship program.
Nicole has also been recruiting and managing a group of influential and high-profile individuals in a new ambassador program for Tourism Australia, and also handles the former Yellow Wiggle Greg Page and his philanthropy activity. |

Paul Fahy Account Manager
Paul holds a Bachelor of Communications and a Master of Journalism from the University of Wollongong.
Paul has worked as a journalist in community newspapers. Paul is involved with b2b as well as consumer accounts in arts, events, design and exhibition sectors. He writes extensively across the Avviso portfolio including brochures, releases, editorial, event guides, and award entries including for Tourism Australia, Philharmonia Choirs, Vivid Sydney, The Song Company, Streamline environment campaign.

Rebecca George Account Executive
Rebecca has a Masters in Media Practice from Sydney University and a BA major in Psychology. Rebecca has experience at ACP Magazines, working across titles such as Madison, Shop til you Drop and Take 5.
At Avviso Rebecca manages media relations campaigns and is responsible for maintaining media contact databases and client media coverage. She works on AMF Bowling and provided ongoing support for the State Library of NSW, NAPCAN and the National Gallery of Australia.
In the past two years Rebecca has also developed skills in marketing and was responsible for marketing and online media activities for both the Macquarie Visions and Smart Light Sydney Festivals as part of Vivid Sydney.

Laura Good Office Manager
Laura manages the day to day running of the office.
Prior to joining Avviso Public Relations, Laura spent more than 15 years in sales and marketing, customer relations and operations management in the travel sector. She is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations at the University of Sydney.
