Masterpieces from Paris
The Masterpieces from Paris are due to open
at the National Gallery of Australia this December
presenting one of the most extraordinary and
important exhibitions ever to visit Australia.
Avviso is assisting the National Gallery team
to ensure all Australians are aware of this
magnificent collection visiting our shores
from the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

The collection has never left Paris, and features
some of the most important Post Impressionist
masterpieces from artists including Van Gogh,
Gauguin, Cézanne, Monet, Seurat and more.

Christmas Concerts

As the year comes to a close our performing arts
companies will also be presenting a wonderful
series of Christmas concerts. Sydney Philharmonia Choirs
will once again raise the Opera House roof with
The Hallelujah Chorus in everyone’s favourite
Christmas celebration Handel’s Messiah. In the
 Song Company’s
show A Free Range Christmas,
audiences can expect a menagerie of animals from
all around the world, paired with harmonious songs
 from Australia’s leading vocal ensemble.

Avviso gives a helping hand

Avviso has recently worked with NAPCAN, the
National Association for the Prevention of Child
Abuse and Neglect, around the promotion of its
national survey, that was live online until 1 November
at: http://www.preventingchildabuse.com.au.
We secured extensive print, online and
broadcast coverage for the campaign, and
also helped secure air time for the campaign’s
community service announcement featuring
David Koch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6nlToitrb4

Avviso also worked with NAPCAN on the launch
of its new SOSO (Smart Online, Safe Online)
program targeting cyber bullying. The program is the
first of its kind to target kids directly and was launched at
Google’s headquarters in Sydney, using
YouTube as a platform to deliver its message.
