SMART LIGHT SUCCESS
The Avviso team managed an integrated social media, PR and marketing campaign for Smart Light Sydney when it lit up as part of the Vivid Sydney festival, 26 May - 14 June.

With a Light Walk featuring 25 light art sculptures, including a treatment by internationally renowned artist Brian Eno on the Sydney Opera House sails, Smart Light Sydney drew crowds in excess of 400,000. Avviso's international PR campaign reached over 50 million in circulation figures and extensive online activity resulted in nearly 4 million views of the Smart Light Sydney website.

BUSINESS EVENTS AUSTRALIA
Avviso, in partnership with sister agency Pinque, has been appointed to manage the PR for Tourism Australia's Business Events Australia unit. Already we have implemented a global campaign to launch the new integrated trade marketing campaign from Business Events Australia, showcasing Australia's ability to inspire fresh thinking.

Avviso is also profiling the results of business Events Australia's inaugural National CSR Audit of the business industry, strengthening Australia's international reputation as a place where environment and community matter.

FINALIST FOR GOLDEN TARGET AWARDS
Avviso has been named as a finalist in the PRIA Golden Target Awards 2009 for our campaign on Metropolis Congress 2008, in the category of Special Event/Observance. Winners will be announced at the PRIA national Conference on 26 October 2009.
